Furniture
This month Brian and I have been to many furniture stores just be price out some new items.  Talk about sticker shock!  We didn't realize how expensive furniture can be, I mean so far we haven't made any major furniture purchases, until this week.  Ikea's been our top furniture store, and well, that explains our sticker shock.  All this to say, we bought some new items!!!   Two chairs and a couch.  Pictured to the right is my chair, that's right, Rebecca's chair.  Its so comfy and cute!  I just love it.  We've only had it a few days and yet I'm constantly sitting it in to read, grade, or play on my iPod.

Other fun....an empty basement
Pros: 
Charley loves to run around in it.
Its nice and clean.
Easy keep clean.
Plenty of room for a sleepover.
Cons:
Empty space.
No place to scrapbook!
Wasted partially finished basement.

Brian has a vision for the basement: a family room with two couches, tv, and dry bar.  This vision, of course, includes a craft area for me.  I need a space for my knitting supplies and scrapbooking goodies.  It'll be fun to see this all come together...one step at a time...
